Coating
Coating chemicals are sprayed directly on the Yankee cylinder, controlling adhesion and heat transfer, and reducing wear by separating the creping blade from the cylinder surface.
Houghton uses tailored combinations of:
- Houghto-Film base coatings
- Houghto-Salt preservatives
- Houghto-Plast modifiers
- Houghto-Lube release agents
Combined skillfully, these products provide enhanced ‘runnability’, with tolerance to adhesive contaminants, operational flexibility and, of course, finer crepe quality.
