Integration of Houghton and DA Stuart Operations

Houghton International Inc. acquired the global business of D A Stuart in September 2008. Houghton and DA Stuart are both recognised as leading independent speciality fluid manufacturers and the new company becomes one of the world’s largest suppliers of fluids and fluid management services in the global metalworking fluids marketplace. Since acquisition we have been working towards merging our two UK business resources in Manchester and Wolverhampton.

We began the transfer of D A Stuart product production from Wolverhampton to Manchester on 2nd February 2009 for completion by mid March 2009 and we have invested significant resources in the planning and execution of facilities and services integration.  Special priority has been given to  managing risk within our supply chain and manufacturing processes, in order to maintain the high level of service and quality provided to our customers.

If you are an existing DA Stuart customer you will have received a detailed letter setting out new contacts, addresses and procedures for orders, technical service samples, technical advice and general enquiries.
